How It Started:

She Gone was born from our way of making light of our golf mishaps. The four of us, John Kreger, Jim Kreger, Tom Hall, & Brett Hall have all been avid golfers for quite some time. We all have a strong passion for the game-the birdies, the bogeys, and the downright brutal! For years, when a player in our group would hit a ball into a lake or other hazard in which the ball was un-retrievable or Out-of-Bounds, we would holler “She Gone!” and laugh heartily! Our goal is to bring a light-heartedness to those situations in the game that ordinarily bring some frustration. But most importantly, we want to give back to a community that has given us so much joy over the years, and help to pass that on to the next wave of young golfers. To do so, we here at She Gone will be donating 10% of all proceeds to Junior Golf! As sales increase, our donation percentage will follow.

John & Jim:

"We were very lucky growing up. Our father was an exceptional golfer! He played in the 1961 National Amateur Tournament at Pebble Beach Golf Links. He was in the same flight as Jack Nicklaus. While our father didn’t get to compete against Jack, Jack went on to win that tournament. Our father won his first 3 matches; unfortunately however, he lost to the Canadian National Amateur Champion there, who then lost to Jack. Our dad was 30 at the time, and Jack was 20. Following this, Jack went on to become one of the greatest golfers of all time--a golf legend--and our dad went on to be...well, an epic father, who shot his age into his mid 80’s!"

Tom & Brett:

"We are a father and son team in everything we do--from our businesses, to supporting local charities, and especially, our passion for golf. Our competitive drive can be seen in everything we do. As the son of an avid golfer, Dad's (Tom) love for golf led me (Brett) to the course early on in my life. Dad (Tom) was close by my side throughout all my junior tour days, supporting me, teaching me, and cheering me on. Golf has always been such a staple of our lives. When we are not working away on our business, you can find us working a grill, reeling in fish off Florida's coast, or teeing it up at our local golf courses battling it out with friends and family. To us, golf is not only about the love of the game itself, but also the strengthening of family relationships, time spent with great friends, and making lasting memories."

The Four Of Us:

The four owners of SheGone! are avid golfers. It's a safe bet that on the weekends, you'll find us out on the course playing a friendly game of golf. We come from very diverse backgrounds, and some of us have been lucky enough to have been around some of the best in the game. We have also been lucky enough to be invited (and/or qualified) for numerous tournaments.

To us, one of the most fun moments in life is making that shot that means something when others are watching.

We all agree that one of the best gifts that you can give someone, is the gift of Golf. It is a sport that you can play for almost a lifetime, and it has a way of bringing the generations together. Tom and Brett are currently helping Brett’s son  -Tom’s grandson - develop his own golf game. It is so great being able to watch and be a part of passing on this torch!
